Patchmon's Thai Desserts & More bakery shop was officially established in 2015. The first day the store officially opened to the public was on the 29th of April, 2015. We are a family run business that aims to deliver a traditional Thai desserts experience to all that are curious about authentic Thai dessets. We hope to expand the public's knowledge about Thai culture through the new lens of Thai desserts.

Patchmon Su-Anchalee, the chef and the co-founder of this bakery, began making Thai desserts because of her husband's "sweet tooth" ; with his constant cravings and mentions of Thai desserts, since he is a major fan since he was a child, she started to learn making Kha-Nohm Chun (Thai Coconut Layers Cake) as the first Thai dessert she ever made. Interestingly, Patchmon did not know how to cook until her and her family moved to Canada from Thailand in 2003. However, she didn't have much difficulties getting into cooking or baking because of her family background in making Thai food and Thai desserts, as well as owning a bakery shop in Thailand. When she moved to Canada, although she started working in many Thai restaurants at first, she came to realize that her true passion lies in the field of bakery. Thus she began diverting her career to working in (bakery factory?); she landed a position of __ at the headquater cafe of Ace Bakery in 20__ where she acquired and developed various skills, such as standard health protocols, ____ which have become useful to her in subsequent career opportunities, including here at the Patchmon's Thai Desserts shop.
